ARROGANCE, IGNORANCE, INSPIRATION

((Hugs and love to all of you)) The closer the last day of the year comes, the more excited I become. I don't know about you, but I plan on dancing a jig on the head of 2008 and I won't stop until it's flattened into an angel-shaped pancake. HA! I may even sing a MOO-tune or two in honor of our sweet Tao of Moo.

It's been an interesting year and I'm happy to see it go....but then, I'm always happy when one year ends and a new one begins. Just think, January 1, the slate is wiped clean for all of us. We can make, do, become anything we want to, if our hearts are in the right place and we remember to put God first in everything we do. That's one of my affirmations for the New Year...God will be first in my every encounter and I'll be trying to pay more attention to the Blessed Mother while I'm at it.

When I reflect on my life, and who among us hasn't been doing this lately, I realize that for HALF my life now I've been dreaming of writing my book, always saying, "One day I'll find the time...", "When the time is right, I'll tell my story..." etc. How many of us do this? Is the right time going to suddenly ring my doorbell and say, "Here I am", or is it up to me to MAKE the right time?

I think about all of the time I've invested in writing these blogs and I wonder what might have happened if I'd spent an equal amount of time every day this year, just working on a chapter of the book? Would it be finished? Oh yes, it would. Will I stop blogging when I start writing? NO WAY. Not having enough time or "the right time" is one of the greatest illusions fear presents to us. This year, I plan to kick it where it counts.

Yesterday was a slap in the face, but I'm over it. I can't get into all the details here...some of you know the story, but it's not important. We will always encounter people who mistake our kindness for stupidity or those who mistake our kindness for weakness or those who want to use our kindness to run over us. When this happens, we always have a choice to make. We can fire back in the same manner as we were fired upon OR we can rise above. I hate to say it, but there will always be a measure of arrogance and ignorance in this world, but I'm happy to say, I can choose to walk around it and continue on my way. So can you.

I'm sorry we had to cancel last night's show but thrilled I got to chat with you all. It definitely helped improve my mood and I'm happy it helped others improve theirs as well. We will likely do a show on New Year's Eve, so if you don't have any plans, come spend it with us...we plan on having a blast and MAY even do the show closer to midnight so we can all celebrate together!

I am planning this workshop series for the first week in January...more than likely it will be on Saturday the 10th. There is still plenty of time to register. It's a five week series and each session will last about an hour and a half to two hours. There will be homework and interaction is required and it's going to be loads of fun too. There is a $30.00 fee to take the class. This is for my time, not what I will be sharing, because this is free for all people. I'm not one of those who will continually come up with different classes so I can charge. No. After you've gone through the series, you will have all the tools you need in order to charge full-speed ahead.
